  As of January 2022, the CPRNE for aspiring Registered  Practical Nurse s or RPNs in Ontario was replaced by the Regulatory Exam – Practical Nurse (REx-PN) . According to the College of Nurses of Ontario, this exam will also apply to aspiring Licensed Practical Nurse s (LPNs) in British Columbia.
